Games Room

There is a ping pong table in our Games Room. Bats and balls are issued in exchange for a refundable deposit of $20.

Pool & Darts

The bar opens at 4pm each day.  There is a pool table that operates on a $2 coin.  There is also a dart board for which we ask a refundable deposit of $10 for the darts.

Board Games

There are a few board games at reception for guests use.

Disc Golf!!

In 2021 we installed an 18 hole Disc Golf Course "Waitaha Ara" . You can download the course here https://udisc.com/courses/waitaha-ara-DujU

See reception for disc hire $5/disc & deposit of $15/disc.  Loads of fun!

Tennis

The tennis court is available for guests use with racquets and balls for hire at reception. $16 for 2 racquets and balls. $20 for 4 racquets and balls.

Spa Pools

For Lodge guests only.  No glass please.  Plastic glasses are available from the bar.  Please replace the covers when you get out to maintain the heat and to save on energy.

Golf

Both Twizel and Omarama have golf courses of which Twizel is the better maintained.

Skiing & Snowboarding

In winter we operate the Ohau Snowfields. There is a double chair lift accessing the upper part of the mountain, with a platter and snow mat for learners.  All runs are groomed.  The cafeteria serves great wholesome food and espresso coffee.  There is a Snow School with fabulous instructors and a highly professional ski patrol.
